My Thesis work focuses on foraging activity of bats at forest edges versus open wetlands. I conducted field research throughout the Summer of 2022 at 10 research sites located among the Piedmont region of NC. As of now I am analyzing and working on manuscripts about my research. I have been to multiple conferences focusing on bats and ecology while finishing my degree. My next steps are to publish my work and find a job that allows me to continue working with bats and conservation in general.
